QUALIFICATIONS
Experience • • Minimum Years of Relevant Experience: o Minimum 5 years 'recent experience configuring and administering cloud environments and tools.
Must Have Defining secure-based cloud architecture while adhering to development methodologies, engineering, and cloud standards. o Providing detailed guidance to engineering team members creating administrative processes and procedures. Administering an AWS environment. o Supporting enterprise tools, services, and applications in a cloud environment.
Performing operational and day-to-day administrative support functions, including troubleshooting issues and support of change and Cloud Administrator, Level 3 problem management processes using Atlassian: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Crowd.
Developing, deploying, and troubleshooting IAC environments using AWS kubectl and HashiCorp Terraform.
Working within multiple Cloud Service Providers, e.g., AWS GovCloud, AWS Commercial, and Azure.
Ability to support cybersecurity teams in conducting a security analysis and assessment of current processes and platforms and generate adhoc reports and guidance for team members or management.
Ability to design solutions and recommend the most suitable design packages to improve current administrative security levels and performance.
Identifying, tracking, remediating and documenting software, networking, and hardware vulnerabilities for-and-with the engineering, development, and cybersecurity teams.
Professional verbal and written communications skills that clearly, concisely, and properly conveys information the first time – thereby successfully avoiding miscommunications and/or providing inadequate information, reports, deliverables, and responses.
• Desired Skills, But Not Mandatory o Active Directory, Office 365, and other Windows-based technologies. o Ability to configure VMs, containers, and Web Applications. o Experience with administering Linux, Windows Server, Kubernetes, Elastic Search, Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, Kiali, Hashi Corp Consul, and Hashi Corp Vault. o Experience with Python, Bash, Shell, Java, Go, and PowerShell. o Experience with Azure administration.
Education • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. OR • Total of 13 years’ relevant professional experience in lieu of BS degree. •
Certification(s) • Relevant industry certification is desirable but not required
