DAI Financial Manager
Position Description
Are you ready to support the United States Marine Corps in a pivotal role? CGI is seeking a dedicated Financial Manager with a Secret clearance and experience in Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential financial and business systems services, ensuring the efficient management of resources and compliance with federal regulations. This position is located in our Arlington, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities
-Provide FM system expertise; identifying and reporting financial system problems and system process improvement requirements.
-Validate accounting records for accuracy; performing trend analysis utilizing performance metrics.
-Track accounting system changes and interfaces.
-Serve as a liaison with financial stakeholders such as the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS.)
-Provide technical guidance on financial matters.
-Conduct evaluations and analyses of FM operations.
-Support the development and implementation of the Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICOFR) program and procedures.
-Experience in using OBIEE/OAS Answers to create queries, format views, charts, and add user interactivity and dynamic content to enhance the user experience.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
DOD Clearance Required
Education Requirements: Bachelors Degree (4 years of additional work experience can be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree).
-4 plus years of experience in designing, development, and implementation of OBIEE/OAS.
-Experience in gathering reporting and analysis requirements, and documenting the report specifications.
-Must have 3-5 years of full-time DAI experience providing financial systems or business systems services.
-Functional knowledge of Oracle EBS modules (B2R, CA, O2C, P2P).
-General understanding of the Treasury United States General Ledger (USSGL) posting logic.
-Experience with performing financial analysis, identifying root cause and recommending solutions to financial issues.
-Quick learner with strong communication and people skills who can work in a team or independently.
-Experience in creation of functional documentation.
-Ability to effectively and professionally communicate complex financial issues and status verbally, in writing and via metrics and reports.
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200.00 - $214,800.00.
