MAG Aerospace is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer provide technical support to the Regional Multi-domain Awareness Capability (RMAC). Must be able to apply systems engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, and evaluate multi-domain awareness systems in remote international locations, subjected to extreme environmental conditions, for continued improvement and maximum effectiveness in real world applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to :
- Provide engineering technical support to the development of new capabilities, development of significant alterations to existing systems, and integration of hardware and software into cutting edge defense and space systems and platforms.
- Review and provide recommended changes to ACAT engineering documents including, but not limited to, System Specifications, System Engineering Master Plans, Test and Evaluation Master Plans, etc.
- Review Software and Hardware Requirements Documents, Interface Requirements and Control Documents, and other relevant technical documents to identify technical and programmatic shortfalls and deficiencies and recommend alternatives and trade-offs.
- Conduct and support extensive engineering investigations including root cause analysis.
- Actively participate in program reviews, design reviews, technical exchange meetings, and other meetings
- Review and prepare system engineering and technical analyses
- Apply system engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management.
- Analyze, design, develop, implement, test or evaluate automated data processing software related to engineering or functional requirements of multi-domain awareness systems, associated support systems, or information management systems.
- May act as team leader or supervisor developing engineering procedures and controls, managing project efforts, and taking the lead in problem resolution.
- Interfaces with system or program contractors, vendors, and government representatives regarding the technical aspects of both the software and hardware components of the entire system.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of engineering and technical experience supporting hardware/software programs in defense, space, and/or advanced concept design implementation.
- Must be an expert in the application of MS Office 365 software products
- Must have expert written and oral briefing skills.
- A background in computer programming is required.
Education and Experience
- MA/MS degree and applicable experience must be in engineering, computer science, math, physics or other technical degree
Clearance
- Active TOP SECRET security clearance.
- Personnel who are enrolled in Continuous Evaluation (CE) will also be eligible
Other Requirements
- Willing and able to travel not more than 25% time
- Must a US Citizen
