Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position $75,750 – 102,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. About the Role:
The Mission Planning Support Engineer – Basic will troubleshoot the Mission Planning Environment and hardware and explain solutions to users.
Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:
Provides user support for numerous devices and maintain updated software/hardware configurations.
Trains users on mission planning and execution software applications.
Maintains network servers and client computers with current imagery.
Provides local and remote support for IT systems and the software associated with these systems.
Conducts network centric system administration of user systems.
Provides intuitive solutions for ever changing user support requests.
Integrates enterprise communications architecture with tactical networking devices.
Assists with proposal development, if necessary.
Performs other duties, as assigned.
Experience Requirements:
Minimum of five (5) years, within the last eight (8) years, operational experience with/or supporting Special Operations at Special Forces Group, Civil Affairs,
Military Information Support Operations (MISO) or Ranger Regiment.
Minimum of five (5) years operational experience with or supporting an
organization’s mission planning computer systems, communications, mission equipment,
and planning techniques including preparation of unit mission plans for conduct of
peacetime and wartime special operations missions.
Familiarity with the assigned component’s tactical Standard Operating
Procedures (SOP) and mission guides.
Education Requirements:
Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma.
Certificate, License, and Registration Requirements:
A+ CE, CCNA – Security, Network+, or SSCP highly desired.
Other Required Skills & Abilities:
Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
Security Clearance Requirements:
Secret Clearance and Must be able to obtain a Top Secret Clearance
US Citizenship Requirements:
This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Sawdey Solution Services to staff it only with U.S. Citizens.
