The Opportunity:
CACI is looking for a range of entry to SME-level SOC Support Specialists to join our dynamic team supporting Cyber Security Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), a component of Department of Homeland Security (DHS). If you are a motivated individual looking to contribute to a critical mission, CACI would like to speak with you.

The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present ideas in a business-like manner. The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast-paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts. The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with both client managers and system users. The candidate should speak well in front of an audience and be able to present briefs to high-ranking government personnel and be able to provide whiteboard sessions and presentations to personnel in a clear, concise but comprehensive manner.

What You'll Get to Do:
  • Tracks and analyzes activity on servers, endpoints, networks, applications, databases, websites and other technology systems
  • Provides a critical layer of analysis needed to seek out any irregular activity that could suggest a security incident
  • Apply techniques for detecting host and network-based intrusions using intrusion detection technologies


You'll Bring These Qualifications:
  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain SCI
  • Ability to obtain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) - Cyber Security Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Entry On Duty (EOD) - Active EOD preferred
  • ISACA Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) Certification
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional planning skills and ability to work within change management parameters
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision
  • Able to communicate clearly and professionally with senior customers to field and troubleshooting questions and issue
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodology, processes, and techniques.

One or more of the following certifications:
  • GCIH - GIAC Certified Incident Handler
  • GSOC -GIAC Security Operations Certified
  • GMON -GIAC Continuous Monitoring Certifications


Education/Experience:
Entry
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent and 0-3 years of experience in Cybersecurity. An associate degree plus 4 yrs work experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Journeyman
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent and 3-10 years of experience in Cybersecurity. A Journeyman labor category typically performs all functional duties independently. Six years' work experience or an Associate degree plus 4 yrs work experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Senior
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent and 10+ years of experience in Cybersecurity and a master's degree. Twelve years' work experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. A bachelor's degree plus 8 yrs work experience may be substituted for a master's degree.

SME
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent and 15+ years of experience in Cybersecurity and a master's degree in addition to certifications in the applicable subject matter area. Twelve years' work experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. A bachelor's degree plus 20 yrs work experience may be substituted for a master's degree.


These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
  • Previous DHS or DoD experience


This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, this position is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available. Individuals who apply may also be considered for other positions at CACI.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$57,500-$117,900
