We are looking for a System Administrator who specializes in Cybersecurity and SecOps to join our Technology Operations Division team in Quantico. You will be part of an amazing team that is focused in the integrity and compliance of our systems. Your work will directly impact critical applications used by the law enforcement and intelligence communities. As a Cyber/SecOps System Administrator, you will be in charge of maintaining, enforcing, and producing procedures to support systems compliance with security measures across different enclaves. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a great team that supports national security projects, collaborates with other system engineers and technicians, and contributes to the overall mission of the organization.

DUTIES:
• Implement STIG releases across a variety of operating systems and applications
• Tracks and remediates IAVM vulnerabilities
• Manages ACAS vulnerability reports and remediates as required
• Performs software upgrades, patch installs, firmware upgrades
• Diagnosis and troubleshoot problems related to the OS, hardware, network, and related software
• Daily written and oral communications with coworkers and leadership
• Continual attention to periodic SCAP and STIG requirements needed to harden the servers
• Troubleshoot and configure servers in a virtual environment using VSphere
• Create scripts in various shells to automate daily and periodic tasks
• Document work for leadership, update/create Standard Operating Procedures, and brief staff and customers various tasks

REQUIRED SKILLS:
• 5+ years of experience with system administration
• BS Degree of 4 additional years of work experience in lieu of degree
• COMPTIA Security+ CE
• DoD system accreditation process
• STIG checklist review process to include SCAP scans and implementation
• Microsoft SCCM package creation and deployment
• Group Policy Management administration to include policy creation and maintenance
• Familiarity with Windows 10 including deployment via SCCM / standalone options
• Improving system operations and functionality, monitoring, and optimization of servers and workstations
• Previous exposure with VMware virtual environments
• US Citizenship required

• LINUX Systems Administration Experience (SPLUNK)
• Forescout Experience
• Initiates Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) registrations.
• Knowledge with evaluating and maintaining in a compliant status; implements and validates A&A packages to ensure security controls and vulnerabilities meet DON RMF authorization compliance requirements.
