Oracle Database Administrator
Location: Colorado Springs, CO.

Job Responsibilities:
- The candidate will possess a Secret clearance and IAT Level 2 certification, along with a strong background in database administration and security. This role will involve managing and optimizing database systems, ensuring their performance, availability, and security in accordance with organizational requirements and government standards.
- Design, implement, and maintain Oracle, DB2, Cassandra and MongoDB database systems.
- WebLogic expertise (deploying, upgrading, patching troubleshooting Oracle WebLogic).
- Ensure the performance, availability, and security of database environments.
- Manage database installation, configuration, and upgrades.
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
- Implement and enforce database security policies and procedures.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries and database performance.
- Plan and execute backup and recovery strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align database systems with business needs.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior database administrators.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 9 years of experience as a Database Administrator, with expertise in Oracle, DB2 Cassandra and MongoDB.
- Must have 3 years of experience in management or leadership roles.
- Must have experience with WebLogic.
- Must have, or obtain within 60 days of start, a DoD IAT Level II certification (Security +).
- Must have, or obtain within 90 days of start, an Oracle, DB2 Cassandra or MongoDB certification.
Desired Skills:
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database performance tuning.
- Experience with database security concepts and government standards.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
