Zivaro's NORAD Cheyenne Mountain Complex (NCMC) Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract (NISSC) II Team provides engineering expertise and IT services in support of various NORAD, NORTHCOM, USSTRATCOM, and US Space Force Command and Control (C2) missions. The NISSC II-covered systems provide timely, accurate, unambiguous, and continuous classified communications and processing capability in operations centers at Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station, Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado; Offutt AFB, Nebraska; Vandenberg Space Force Base, California; and other worldwide operational locations. In concert with the prime NISSC II contractor, Zivaro's employees performs enterprise architecture, system engineering, software development, system integration, and system test duties to fulfill NISSC II operations, maintenance, and sustainment requirements. Experience supporting capability development, delivery, and sustainment of Command and Control (C2) systems within an Agile environment supporting the missile warning, missile defense, and space domain awareness (SDA) domains is highly desired.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS
· Ability to be part of an integrated team tasked with developing and maintaining the physical, functional, and technical requirements baselines necessary to describe the desired capabilities of the NISSC II-covered command & control systems.
· Understanding of systems engineering process and principles.
· Experience developing system engineering artifacts (e.g. specifications, Interface Control Documents, Use Cases, System Architecture Descriptions, Trade Studies, etc.).
· Experience working with other systems, software and specialty engineers to develop solutions.
· Perform use case development and prepare systems engineering artifacts including definition of Epics and Features to be developed by Cross-Functional Product Teams to implement customer requested capabilities.

REPORTING TO: Director of Resident Engineering
· Very strong understanding of requirements and documentation.
· Based on understanding of the design and results of comparisons, use related systems engineering tools and documents to analyze, understand, and propose changes to systems engineering analysis, user CONOPS and system operational concepts, and system and interface requirements specifications in support of NISSC II.
· Support the development and review of interface documents, system requirements, Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM) development, architectural documentation, and author and perform formal and informal engineering reviews.
· Excellent communications skills are required (written and oral) as is the ability to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings.
· Able to write and implement engineering plans within a project.
· Familiarity with the application and use of systems engineering tools for requirements management and Object-Oriented requirements definition (e.g. DOORS) is also desired.
· Experience with / knowledge of MBSE, SysML, model-based engineering, or IBM Rhapsody desired.
· Experience with Agile Methods, and Epic and Feature definition is a significant plus.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:
· 6-8 years of experience in System Engineering, requirements and documentation required
· Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS Engineering, Computer Science, or Math); or equivalent combination of education and experience is Required
· DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA) preferred
· Active Secret Security clearance required – Top Secret is preferred
