This position provides support to the Army Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) Multi-Functional Capabilities Team (MFCT), a coalition of functional representatives driving requirements for enterprise resource planning readiness and modernization by 2032. Specifically, this position will support the Data Management Workstream in data management activities across the functional teams and with PMO/System Integrator. This role is remote and must be able to support working the hours of 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Eastern Time.
The Data Migration Analyst will be responsible for the following:
• Provide functional data expertise associated to the data domains.
• Support the documentation of functional specs and mapping. Complete (functional columns) the field mapping templates and data tab of data definition templates.
• Support end user data validation activities (business rules) in collaboration with data quality analysts/data validators and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the Senior Data Analyst to establish and enforce data governance and master data policies, standards, and procedures to maintain high data quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Support the collaboration with stakeholders regarding master data across key domains (e.g., Material, customer, vendor) to implement and maintain robust master data governance practices, ensuring data consistency and accuracy across master data definition and maintenance.
• Support the development of and monitor data governance policies, standards, and frameworks to support the clients’ objectives.
• Support and maintain clear and detailed documentation of data analysis procedures, data stewardship alignment and master data governance policies, and workflows.
Requirements:
• DoD Secret Clearance
• Bachelor's Degree in related field
• 3 years of data migration/management experience
• Must have strong SAP or Oracle ERP migration experience with experience in some of the following areas: work with stakeholders to understand requirements and restraints, ensure data integrity and accuracy during the migration process, troubleshoot data migration issues, create documentation of processes, develop and execute data validation and reconciliation plans, and coordinate with IT teams and system integrators on migration activities
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working with diverse teams and influencing senior management
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment
• Knowledge/Experience in data management tools such as Callibra
Preferred:
• Experience supporting large-scale government ERP implementations (SAP, S/4 HANA, and/or Oracle or similar integrated technology solutions)
• Experience supporting Department of Defense Clients (Army preferred)
• Experience facilitating collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Experience working remotely within a large project
• Familiarity with Agile principles and/or development projects
• Experience with Federal financials and logistics data sets
