We are looking to hire a Senior S olutions Architect to support our Enterprise IT Support Services work at the Army Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC), Redstone Arsenal. The Solutions Architect (SA) will be responsible for translating business requirements into solution architecture deliverables . The SA will drive tr ansformation and modernization efforts across all solutions and product teams .

We are looking to hire a Senior S olutions Architect to support our Enterprise IT Support Services work at the Army Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC), Redstone Arsenal. The Solutions Architect (SA) will be responsible for translating business requirements into solution architecture deliverables . The SA will drive tr ansformation and modernization efforts across all solutions and product teams .
Responsibilities:
- The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership skills, will be forward thinking, will be self-motivated, and will be able to work effectively in a diverse, highly talented team, continuously striving for excellence
- The Solutions Architect will be expected to advocate technical architecture and build consensus for the adoption of new technologies across multiple functional teams
- The ideal candidate will exhibit strong client-facing skills, leadership skills, will be forward thinking and can work across a multitude of technical and non-technical groups
- Partner with business and technology subject-matter experts to understand the various levels of requirements, the domain, the viable technologies, and anticipated development required to fulfill any solution
- Stays abreast of new technological opportunities to better help provide the best value-added solutions for the enterprise.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architect and other technical leaders to align solution architecture with enterprise architecture standards and vision.
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements into business capability maps, value-stream maps, and architectural blueprints
- Designs future-proof and scalable solutions, considering all hardware, infrastructure, and data constraints.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Ten (10) years of prior experience in a similar role
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- DoD 8570 Level II/III certification desired
- US Security Clearance required
