We are looking for a highly motivated Cyber Operations SME to provide Weapons & Tactics and Training support to a United States Space Force (USSF) customer in Colorado Springs, CO. PPC is committed to developing creative and effective solutions to the nation’s most complicated defense problems. As the Training Element to Mission Delta 6, Detachment 1 is responsible for generating Combat-Ready Cyber personnel for Mission Delta 6 operations. Detachment 1 provides Qualification Training, supports Continuation and Advanced Training with courseware, lesson plans, and script development for Mission Delta 6 personnel. Detachment 1 is ultimately charged with ensuring Mission Delta 6 Cyber Defenders develop and maintain Combat Mission readiness.
The primary purpose of this position is to collaborate with Mission Delta 6 S3/7 staff and Mission Delta 6 subordinate/aligned units as part of Detachment 1 to develop and implement new organizational, operational and weapon system constructs that support Cyber-Enabled Space Operations.
Responsibilities/Duties:
· Collaborate with Mission Delta 6 S3/7 staff to develop and implement new organizational, operational and weapon system constructs that support Cyber-Enabled Space Operations
· Assist with the development and delivery of Mission Delta 6 Cyber Operation and Cyber Intelligence training courses
· Support Defensive Cyber Operations-Space (DCO-S) Mission Planning, DCO-S system utilization, development of Cyber threat mitigations strategies, and analysis of Mission Relevant Terrain-Cyber (MRT-C) of key USSF Mission Systems
· Conduct Cyber Range application in support of Advanced Training and exercises
· Conduct USSF Cyber exercise planning and execution
· Conduct Mission Delta 6 Cyber Tactics Development
· Perform work primarily at an off-base facility with routine telework with occasional duty at Schriever Space Force Base and TDYs
Requirements:
· Active TS/SCI security clearance
· Recent military space, cyberspace, or intelligence operations experience (preferably within USSF, 16th Air Force, U.S. Space Command, or U.S. Cyber Command)
· At least 8-years operational experience
· Familiarity with engaging with multiple DoD and Intelligence Community organizations (SpOC, SSC, STARCOM, AFCYBER, USSF, NSA, USSPACECOM, USCYBERCOM) at multiple levels (e.g., Flight, Division, Delta, Wing, Directorate and HQ levels)
· Proficient with instructorship and courseware development
· Familiarity with USAF/USSF Tactics Development Programs
· Self-motivated and innovative problem-solver
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Excellent soft skills
Preferred Qualifications:
· USAF Weapons School Graduate or Cyber Weapons and Tactics experience
· Mission Defense Team (MDT), Cyber Protection Team (CPT) or USCYBERCOM Cyber Mission Force/Team (CMF/CMT)
