The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a software developer to use advanced technical skills to design, develop, enhance, and maintain new and existing mission-focused software capabilities that directly supports operations. You will work as an integrated member of a cross-disciplinary team with flexibility to adapt development requirements to frequently changing operational scenarios in a fast-paced environment. You will be able to independently apply advanced knowledge of software development, testing and evaluation, cyber security and mission requirements to develop and maintain mission critical programs. You will work well both as an individual and must be a team player with strong communication skills; be able to work in a high-impact, busy office; and work well in an open, collaborative space.

Responsibilities:

A typical work day is comprised mostly of development tasks and interfacing with technical users regarding new requirements, bugs, testing, and enhancements with a fairly rapid and direct pace.

Qualifications:

Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• TS/SCI with required polygraph level clearance
• Full life cycle software development and testing experience
• Professional experience and demonstrated ability with at least one systems-level programming language, such as: GoLang, C++, C
• Comprehensive skill in one or more scripting languages, such as: Python, Perl, Bash
• Proven track record of delivering working software solutions to meet a mission need
• Experience in debugging, software build pipelines, and code review
• Experience developing for Linux servers and using the Linux command-line environment
• Experience with configuring Linux servers/VMs and utilities to match real-world scenarios
• Experience with standard Web technologies such as: HTTP(1/2), JSON, Apache/Nginx/etc. reverse proxies
• Familiarity with SQL queries and database engines such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Understanding of network topology and standard internet communications protocols
• Ability to research and develop solutions from high-level objectives and requirements; must be eager to learn
• Detail oriented, organized, able to multitask, and adaptable to shifting requirements

Desired:

• Experience with current GoLang development practices
• Understanding of Linux Kernel internals
• Demonstrated professional experience designing user interfaces
• Cybersecurity experience such as authentication design, secure coding best practices, and understanding of web attacks such as SQL Injection, XSS, CSRF, etc.
• Familiarity with containerization environments such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Previous experience with this Sponsors infrastructure

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$85,800 - $180,200
