System Engineer
The Opportunity:
As a systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to shape the Foreign Military Sales ( FMS ) Command, Control, Computers, Communications, and Intelligence ( C4I ) mission by managing and leading the systems engineering team providing lifecycle management needs for each assigned C4I program. You will be the lead engineer primarily responsible for case te chn ical management systems requirements and developing and documenting solutions for each assigned C4I program.
Your customer will t rus t you to not only design and develop the System-of-System ( SoS ) integration packages, but also evolve them with advanced te chn ology solutions. On our team, you'll be able to broaden your skill set into related C4I projects to provide oversight of FMS cases and interface requirements on direct commer cia l sales ( DCS ) contracts to ensure solutions developed adhere to the C4I modernization standards and requirements.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,700.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- Experience in system engineering or architecture at the project level, including a background in C4I and interactions with foreign partners
- Experience with secure computing environments, integrated Air and Missile Defense, Joint Forces, transportable or mobile C2, or the enhanced readiness reporting system
- Knowledge of RF, SATCOM, and Encryption Devices
- Knowledge of integrated imagery and intelligence ( I3 )
- Knowledge of continuous surveillance and dissemination system
- Ability to travel internationally up to 50% of the time
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree and 14+ years of experience with C4I or IT or Master's degree and 10+ years of experience with C4I or IT
Nice If You Have:
- Knowledge of Identification Friend or Foe ( IFF ) , C2 and C2PCs, Extended Range Sensors, coastal port sensor integration, Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear and Explosive ( CBRN E ) detection and response, Friendly Forces Tracking and Reporting, Fire Support Effects Tactical Data System, or Counter-Unmanned Aircraft systems
- Cisco Certified Network Professional ( CCNP ) Certification
- Computing Te chn ology Industry Asso cia tion ( CompTIA ) Certification
