Job Description
*** Must be willing and able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance ***
• Installing, maintaining and repairing Critical HVAC systems such as Chillers, Cooling Towers, Air Handlers, Compressors, Hot and Chilled Water Pumps, CRAC Units, Exhaust Fans etc.
• Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
• Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
• Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.
• Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating, brazing and soldering.
• Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances such as dishwashers and water heaters, and fixtures such as sinks and toilets, using hand and power tools.
• Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
• Must be able to install and maintain chilled water supply and return piping systems, sheet metal duct work, and insulate accordingly.
• Must be able to perform material take offs to complete projects.
• Must be able to work in a safe manner utilizing all required PPE, site safety plans, and safe work practices at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance
• EPA Universal Certification
• Journeyman license/certificate or equivalent is required
• U.S. Citizen with valid driver's license
• Valid and current passport
• Required local travel in the DMV area for local projects
• Required to deploy OCONUS for short term assignments - Assignments can be up to 5 months
• Occasional weekend, evening, and after-hours work may be required
• Willing and able to work up to 7 days a week on certain projects, 10 hours a day, sometimes (often times) during non-standard hours
• Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds
• Working conditions include various levels of environmental conditions including but not limited to generally favorable indoor office workspace, moving mechanical parts and vibration; high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles and extreme temperatures and high noise levels.
