Duties & Responsibilities:
  • The General Security and Intelligence Program Support (GSIP Support) shall develop, review, and maintain current and future program performance The General Security and Intelligence Program Support shall determine appropriate metrics, methodologies, tools, and procedures for various programs and/or initiatives. This support includes the development of tracking tools, matrices, and templates to efficiently analyze data, identify trends and patterns, generate reports, and track actions to resolution.
  • The General Security and Intelligence Program Support shall provide on-call after hours and watch bill This support shall be performed TS/SCI cleared personnel and on a rotational basis with Government personnel.
  • The General Security and Intelligence Program Support shall provide management support in developing and responding to program data calls, white papers, and requests for information from multiple The GSIP Support personnel will develop initial and final revisions within the time required to support scheduled deadlines.
  • The GSIP Support shall analyze business and technical issues to gain an understanding of how the technology will be implemented and utilized with current and future processes.
  • The GSIP Support shall identify issues, develop alternatives, provide bespoke solutions, and implementation guidance for critical program issues and initiatives. The GSIP Support shall develop recommendations based upon in- depth analysis of issue(s); knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) and/or Intelligence Community (IC) information systems, policy, and regulations; missions' objectives; budgetary constraints; and staffing (CDRL A001)
  • The GSIP Support shall perform data entry to the current personnel security database and maintain personnel security files for all personnel supported by the Special Security Office.
  • The GSIP Support shall build and maintain tracking spreadsheets/databases for customer SCI PERSEC
  • The GSIP Support shall review and maintain existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that define business support (e.g., requirements management and requirements traceability, management and tracking, definition of done) for Government approval.
  • During performance of all tasking under this effort, the GSIP Support personnel shall provide meaningful technical customer support interactions and ensure esprit de corps throughout all levels of military and command personnel. This support includes accurate and effective written and verbal communication; providing customer outreach; resolving customer concerns in a positive manner; extinguishing metaphorical fires; and collecting customer
  • The GSIP Support shall stay informed about security best practices and emerging threats and continuously improving security measures.
  • The GSIP Support shall provide security awareness and training programs for site personnel to enhance security culture.
  • The GSIP Support shall develop, provide, and participate in training, forums, and The GSIP Support shall maintain certifications of completed training.
  • The GSIP Support shall prepare assessments and white papers on potential innovations, applications, and implementations. (CDRL AXXX)
  • The GSIP Support shall analyze and provide recommendations to develop long-range strategic plans and options. (CDRL A001)
  • The GSIP Support shall collect data in support of weekly, monthly, and annual reports and corporate metrics for security and intelligence related programs.
  • The GSIP Support shall conduct formal and informal meetings and making technical presentations to all levels of This support includes coordinating and gathering of materials, generation and review of documents, and making technical presentations. (CDRLS A002 and A003)
  • The GSIP Support shall develop, review, and/or maintain current and future technical and programmatic
  • Documentation prepared and edited by the GSIP Support shall be submitted to the Government as preliminary or draft for Government review for comments, changes, and/or corrections, prior to formalizing into final submissions.
  • The GSIP Support shall support the continuous process improvement and strategic planning activities, to include documentation development, implementation, reviewing security strategies and protocols, maintenance, and lean six sigma The GSIP Support shall ensure that the site complies with relevant security regulations and standards through inspections, reviewing of processes/procedures, and random audits. This includes communicating with internal and external customers, key stakeholders, and military officials.
  • All recommendations, reports, and briefings shall be delivered to the specified Government
  • The GSIP Support shall assist with event management, planning, and oversight of all transportation requirements, venue, hotel accommodations, mission briefings, and tours for all guests, including the interface with the Department of Defense and other agencies. This support includes planning and coordinating the organization's activities, ensuring protocol complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs and developing proposed itineraries, arranging transportation, lodging reservations, entertainment, briefings, courtesy calls, tours and numerous other actions.
  • Flag officer administrative support, ceremonial and protocol policy and procedural guidance for leadership and other applicable personnel concerning requirements for visiting dignitaries, military ceremonies, official meetings, etc.
  • Regulations and procedures affecting Official Representation Funds (ORF) and Special Morale and Welfare (SM&W) funds and skill in applying basic resource, budget and funds management.
  • Provide protocol office support, presentation coordination, attendance control, sustenance, signage, minutes, action items tracking, lessons learned, operations set up at all NSWC PHD Command special events, meetings, conferences, symposium, and program office or sponsor technical, and financial

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity in Security Information Management System Software (SIMS).
  • This position requires: Strong task management, excellent communication (written and verbal) skills, and providing a high level of customer services with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • This position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Minimum/General Experience:
  • One year of experience:
  • Maintaining security protocols and OPSEC guidance and
  • Security classification guide implementation, marking of classified information, and procedures associated with handling, control, access, and safeguarding of such information.

Minimum Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university and one year of experience in the security field.
  • Allowable substitution - High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) with five years of relevant experience.
