Responsibilities
- Will carry out general and special orders for post assigned; conduct roving patrols to prevent installation breaches and other OPSEC or security-related tasks.
- Will communicate via radio, telephone, and orally according to
- Required to interact with public and government
- Will provide access control and conduct walking armed security functions.
- Will be responsible for the cleanliness of uniform and equipment
- Will follow applicable standard operating procedures and government regulations pertaining to the security of weapons, buildings, personnel, government property, and
- Will conduct personnel, building, & facility checks and package & parcel
- Must be able to work flexible hours to include weekends and
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
- Speak, read, comprehend, and compose coherent verbal and written reports in english
- Have an approved Social Security Card issued by the Social Security
- Active Alabama Armed Security License required
- Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
- Shall not be in violation of the Lautenberg Amendment at 18 S.C. 922
- Must be at least 21 years of
- Minimum of one year experience preferably with a civilian police force, military police force, or civilian security guard organization.
- Successfully be able to meet PAT physical agility standards as set forth by US
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment.
- Knowledge of a variety of Microsoft Office products.
