Responsibilities

The individual selected for this position will provide support to the customer in analyzing, evaluating, integrating, and managing cloud-based systems. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Designing and delivering optimized network infrastructure for performance and resilience.
  • Providing Cloud Engineering expertise to design and deliver complete mission systems (infrastructure/platform/applications/process) solutions within the cloud.
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to development teams to build cloud competencies.
  • Establishing applications, environment uptime, and utilization scaling parameters and metrics, by which monitoring and enhancements can be instrumented and reported.
  • Establishing standard policy and compliance metrics by which cloud environment operations will be monitored, corrective responses issued and reported.
  • Establishing performance and cybersecurity monitoring framework, perform Continuous Monitoring, and report for corrective actions.
  • Establishing and applying Zero Trust Architectures (ZTA) build and sustainment standards.
  • Delivering information papers proposing emergent cloud-based technology and best practices applicable to NCTC mission domain, per government established periodicity.
  • Establishing methods of risk identification and tracking depicting the hosting environment infrastructure and the hosted applications, being visible to the Sponsor, and updated per government periodicity.

Qualifications

  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 5 - 7 years of experience, or a master's and 3 to 5 years of experience.
  • Strong analytical abilities and skills in organizing, planning, communicating, and executing project management tasks.
  • Ability to analyze and prioritize tasks, solve problems, work several tasks concurrently, and efficiently manage a high volume of emails, develop fluency with online tracking tools rapidly and effectively.
  • Demonstrated good judgment, initiative, and critical thinking ability to take action to execute mission by leveraging networks and drawing on multiple areas of expertise.
  • Ability to support multiple programs and projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated experience with technical project management and leading implementation of new technologies into enterprise systems.
  • Extensive experience preparing briefings and documentation for all levels of audiences.
  • Ability to translate technical information and communicate it to a non-technical audience.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with strong initiative and follow through.
  • Expert level skills with Microsoft Office products.
