Description
SAIC has a contingent opening for a System Administrator supporting a large highly visible Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic Data Center and Cloud Hosting Service Program. Ideal candidates are people who thrive in a highly challenging fully integrated government and private sector program team. Candidates must be capable of multitasking, possess highly refined communication skills and who are capable of presenting information in a variety of forums for the program team to include integrated product team level and above.
Work is performed on site in North Charleston, SC. This program is contingent upon award news in March/April 2025.
Qualifications
Required Clearance: Active Secret clearance.
Required Experience: Two (2) years of professional experience.
Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems; and dependent on task, individual shall meet the latest Cybersecurity workforce certification/training in accordance with DoD 8570.1M and subsequent DoD 8140 manual as applicable.
Required Certifications: CompTIA Security+
Plus: relevant certifications as approved by the COR in systems being administer. Additionally, depending on tasking, individual shall be certified as Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I (position-based).
SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
