Primary Responsibilities
This position will serve as the focal point between Programs and Logistics.
This individual performs the function of managing Work in Progress (WIP) material for the programs by
tracking submitted production orders and ensuring materials are properly delivered to the production line in accordance with the production schedules.
This individual also owns the
responsibility of preparing materials for shipment, return to stores, and processing next higher assemblies.
This person also is the one closing out Work Orders on the shop floor in
MES as work is completed
Basic Qualifications
• High School diploma or equivalent and 0 years additional education and/or related experience.
• Experience with inventory operations within an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) (Deltek Costpoint) system and Microsoft applications.
• Capable of using forklift and other inventory related equipment
• Minimum of 1-year materials and production control experience3
Preferred Qualifications
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Prefer experience with Kiting
• Liaising between manufacturing & Inventorying
• Excellent verbal and written communication ability
