Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Senior CPSO/FSO, overseeing security operations for Intelligence Community (IC) programs.
- Manage and ensure the security of classified programs, including personnel, information, and physical security, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Process and maintain employee clearances, access credentials, visit certifications, badges, document control, briefings, debriefings, security database records, and onboarding processes.
- Collaborate with government customers to obtain necessary accreditations and approvals. Be familiar with processes such as Fixed Facility Checklists, Construction Security Plans, and Tempest Checklists.
- Implement security measures to safeguard personnel, facilities, and information, adhering to the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), Security Executive Agent Directives (SEADs), and other relevant regulations.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with government customers and internal teams, including the SAP NS2 Security Team, to ensure consistent security policies and practices across the organization.
- Lead the preparation and successful completion of security inspections and audits by government agencies.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with government and company security policies, particularly regarding special security programs.
- Provide expert guidance on physical security, industrial security, and contractor clearance processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in CPSO/FSO roles, with a focus on IC and DoD programs.
- Active FSO certification.
- Strong experience in Personnel Security, with expertise in one or more additional security disciplines (Physical, Technical, Cyber, Operational), and a willingness to expand knowledge across all areas.
- Hands-on experience with security databases such as DISS, NBIS, e-QUIP, and Scattered Castles.
- Familiarity with Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) and the ability to integrate ICD requirements into a comprehensive security program.
- In-depth knowledge of NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117) and ICDs.
- Experience in managing SCIFs/SAPFs and coordinating with government agencies.
- Strong writing skills, including experience developing SOP manuals, procedures, and OPSEC plans.
- Knowledge of COMSEC account management is a plus.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to both executive leadership and technical teams.
