Imagine One is seeking a Sr. Oracle Database Administrator to assist in the performance, integrity, and security of databases including planning, development, and troubleshooting. The successful candidate will support activities required for the effective sustainment of a large family of DoD information systems used by the Navy's shore-based maintenance community. The position is in Norfolk, VA.

General position responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Support Oracle databases in development and production data centers.
- Establish the needs of users and monitor user access and security.
- Monitor performance and manage parameters to provide fast query responses to front-end users.
- Install and test new versions of the database management system and support security patching as required.
- Assist in writing database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and definitions for the data dictionary.
- Control database access, permissions, and privileges.
- Develop, manage, and test backup and recovery plans.
Experience Requirements:
- Database administrator expertise in one or more of the following: Oracle 19 or higher, RMAN, Active DataGuard, Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), Oracle Security Patching, Unified Auditing and Audit Vault.
- Experience with Oracle AWS is ideal.
- Familiarity with DoD Information Assurance (IA) requirements and practices.
- Familiarity with the Dept of Navy Cyber RMF Process.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University and 5+ years of experience providing database and administration support or master's degree and 3+ years of said experience.
- Actual job experience will be considered in place of work duration requirements.
- Relevant Oracle Certification (OCA, OCP, OCM)
- Must meet Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification criteria specified in DoD 8570-01M.
Security Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship required. Candidate must have a favorably adjudicated SSBI or SSBI-PR updated within the past 5 years with eligibility for a top-secret DoD security clearance
