DEL REY Systems and Technology, Inc. is a defense contractor headquartered in San Diego California. We are currently looking for an Engineer experienced with Power BI & SharePoint.
Job Description: We are seeking a Power BI & SharePoint Engineer to support the Chief Engineer’s Office at NIWC Pacific. This role focuses on developing and optimizing data visualization, reporting, and collaboration tools to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Power BI, SharePoint development, and data integration, with a focus on supporting DoD/Navy environments.
DUTIES and RESPONSBILITIES
• Develop interactive Power BI dashboards to provide real-time insights into engineering and programmatic data.
• Design, build, and maintain SharePoint sites and workflows to streamline collaboration and document management.
• Integrate Power BI with SharePoint, SQL databases, and other data sources to ensure seamless reporting.
• Optimize data models and reports to improve performance and usability.
• Work closely with NIWC Pacific’s Chief Engineer’s Office to understand requirements and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with DoD security policies for data management and access control.
EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of Power Automate, Power Apps, and SharePoint Workflows.
• Familiarity with DoD IT security policies and governance.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
