The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a CCTV and Network Specialist for an Airforce AI project. Technicians shall also support the installation, inspection, adjustments, reconfiguration, and introduction of new or advanced technology, update, testing, and the related technical support for these systems by providing on-site technical assistance.

Responsibilities:
  • Will be responsible for providing weekly team status reports to regional PM.
  • The installation of configuration of networking equipment, CCTV, Bluetooth, and GPS tracking components as assigned for providing enhanced and/or upgraded system capabilities.
  • The installation, upgrade of and disassembly and reconfiguration of AI sensor components and systems, service, repair and maintenance of CCTV, network, and other IoT devices.
  • Diagnose electrical problems or failures in assigned systems for identifying equipment and/or systems repair.
  • Responsible for providing guidance, coaching, and training to other employees within the job area.
  • Provides technical expertise for CCTV, network components (e.g. switches, routers, etc.) systems installed equipment upgrades and reconfigurations at Al Udeid, Qatar.
  • Works closely with the AI analysts to advise and maintain the AI sensor network of CCTV cameras and other IoT devices.
  • Makes recommendations to the customer on the placement of new or upgraded equipment.
  • Duties include manual labor, the lifting of heavy equipment unaided, digging, laying cable, power generation, fiber splicing, and working long hours in harsh environmental conditions.


Qualifications:

Required:
  • A successful candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of technical experience relating to electronic security, and CCTV systems.
  • Minimum of 5 years working in electronics, basic electric circuit troubleshooting.
  • Candidates should have a strong background in installation
  • Possesses a minimum of a high school diploma. Associates and Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred.
  • Must be able to climb towers and carry a backpack of 50+ pounds unassisted.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Candidates MUST BE ABLE TO BE DEPLOYED to war zones.
  • A valid US passport and US driver licenses.
  • Active US Secret clearance.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$45,400 - $90,900
