Senior ServiceNow Architect
Location: 100% Remote – HQ in Herndon, VA
Clearance: Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
Overview:
The Senior ServiceNow Architect will oversee the architect and design of our government client’s ServiceNow Human Resources system that uses ServiceNow HRSD and IBM AI to improve the user experience for the VA employees and managers. This position plays an integral roll in enhancing the user interface, workflows, and reporting capabilities of the HR Smart system, provides case management and knowledge management features, ad helps the VA, GSA, and their customers deliver HR Services more effectively.
Primary Job Duties:
• Architect and design ServiceNow HRSD solutions for clients and customers
• Lead technical teams in the implementation and operations of HRSD solutions
• Engage with executive stakeholders to establish strategic roadmaps and provide thought leadership
• Develop business cases and contribute to business development opportunities
• Designs and develops HRSD solutions that are scalable, efficient, and secure
• Creates documentation for HRSD solutions
• Identifies opportunities for improvement in HRSD practices and technologies
• Identifies risk areas in HRSD solutions and provides recommendations for mitigation
Required Skills: the successful candidate will have all of the below at minimum
• Architect and design ServiceNow HRSD solutions – 5+ years
• Lead implementations of ServiceNow HRSD solutions – 5+ years
• Engage with client stakeholders and customers to determine solution requirements and improvements – 8+ years
• Engage with client executives to generate roadmaps and recommendations – 5+ years
• Create roadmaps for technical offering growth and innovation – 5+ years
• Understand and design integrations and interfaces with other systems – 8+ years
• Understand and design data models – 8+ years
• Excellent customer relationship management skills including effective oral and written communications – 8+ years
• Bachelor's degree
Preferred Skills:
• ServiceNow HRSD Certification
• Understanding of other ServiceNow products
• Understanding of other HR technologies (PeopleSoft HCM, Cornerstone On Demand, etc.)
• Understanding of Agile development methodology and willingness to knowledge transfer
• Experience with Federal agencies, their requirements, and their workflows
• Master’s degree
