Position Overview:
Edgesource is seeking a highly qualified and technical Cybersecurity Instructional Systems Designer to develop and maintain cybersecurity training courseware. The person in this role will assist cybersecurity subject matter experts (SME) in the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of courseware that will be delivered both online and in-person. The goal of these courses is to raise the level of technical knowledge, skills, and abilities of an entry and mid-level government audience. In addition to courseware, this team member will also be involved in the development of short cybersecurity videos and asynchronous content to support our government client and our audience. As a Cybersecurity instructor systems designer, you will work in a collaborative environment, under direction of the Project Lead, with other instructional systems designers (ISD), instructors, video developers, technical writers, and subject matter experts to develop the content. This position is 100% remote, but being in the National Capital Region is a plus.

Job Duties:
- Researching, collaborating, and developing content that will be delivered in a distance learning environment, synchronously.
- Researching, collaborating, and developing video content that will be implemented on a government LMS, asynchronously.
- Providing ISD-expertise to instructors during the development and delivery of cybersecurity content.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a US citizen who is eligible for DHS Suitability / Entry on Duty (EOD).
- Experience using one or more courseware development tools, such as Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Articulate, dominKnow, and other audio and visual creation software.
- Use adult learning principles to develop cybersecurity courses using the Webex platform.
- Provide technical expertise for courseware development and delivery.
- Review and update existing courseware.
- Research cybersecurity topics during courseware development.
Desired Qualifications (NOT REQUIRED):
- Subject matter expertise-level knowledge in one of more cybersecurity or technical field.
- Experience with Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Dashboard.
