Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain Appian-based applications to meet business and application requirements
- Update and enhance existing extensions or tailored software solutions
- Design and integrate front-end applications with backend integration layers for seamless performance
- Work within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment to deliver Epics, Features, and User Stories
- Participate in software demonstrations and collaborate with stakeholders to meet Acceptance Criteria
- Roll out application features incrementally and iteratively, ensuring smooth delivery to government clients
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security practices, and performance optimization
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Appian development
- Experience integrating front-end applications with backend or middleware systems
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies, especially SAFe
- Familiarity with creating and managing Epics, Features, and User Stories in Agile projects
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Appian certifications (e.g., Appian Certified Associate Developer)
- Experience working in government or defense projects
- Knowledge of cloud integration strategies and best practices
- Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and CI/CD pipelines
- Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one
