Orbis is seeking a consultant to lead qualitative research and program evaluation activities for a client in the US Intelligence Community. On this multi-year project, the Consultant will have the opportunity to demonstrate intellectual agility by leading research design, data collection, and analysis activities to produce and implement recommendations that will support the client in optimizing delivery of services to its customers. This project features the opportunity to interact with a wide range of key stakeholders, including those at senior levels. This is an exciting opportunity for an intellectually curious, energetic consultant to work on a project with real impact helping our client develop ways of better meeting the needs of its customers.

Position Responsibilities
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative information to provide the customer with comprehensive tactical and strategic insights into ongoing efforts to identify organizational strengths and challenge areas
  • Develop and implement research designs with practical strategies for conducting evaluations of processes, programs, and training
  • As part of a multi-disciplinary team, collaborate on efforts to enhance client's planning, execution, and evaluation of critical ongoing activities.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership based on research plans, activities, findings, and recommendations
  • Brief senior-level customers on research plans, status of activities, findings, and recommendations

Required Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly
  • Must have a Bachelors degree
  • Demonstrated experience leading qualitative research and program evaluation activities
  • Experience developing presentations and providing briefings to middle and senior management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to create and visually represent data using charts and graphs
  • Proficiency with MS Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to perform in an individual contributor role while also excelling in a team environment

Desired Qualifications
  • Ability to analyze information and identify implications for policy, processes, communications and training
  • Masters degree in business, social science, or behavioral science
  • Familiarity with social media concepts and effects

Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Routine video conference and/or in-person meetings.
  • Ability to attend planned meetings within the Washington Metro Area region.
