Be capable of coordinating needs and priorities with Product and Solution Management
Knowledge in IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS is a plus
JIRA/ Confluence experience is a plus.
Familiarity with DevSecOps technologies, concepts, SAFe agile methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
Experience with Model Based System Engineering is a plus.
Prior Software Architectural/ Engineering leadership experience desired.
Position Description:
The Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Software Architect will work as a member of the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Mission Command Product Office’s Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) Futures Capabilities (IFC) product cell. The IFC Architect is a key team member working on the forward edge of new concepts and new Systems of Systems Integration. The IFC Architect is responsible for evaluating and developing software approaches to integrate new and existing defense systems.
