Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages all engineering and configuration activities for this effort.
- Implements and maintains overall engineering and configuration management objectives and initiatives.
- Confronts and solves performance/operational issues to improve efficiency.
- Leads and develops the engineering and configuration management team.
- Oversees a robust project management process and delivery timelines to keep projects on schedule and on budget.
- Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.
- May give input into developing the budget.
- Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
- Five (5) years of engineering and configuration experience with DoD efforts
- Three (3) years of managerial experience with DoD efforts
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) or related field
- Experience managing dispersed workforce in support of a diverse set of systems, networks and capabilities similar to the engineering and configuration management requirements of this effort
- Familiarity with ISO 9000:2015
- Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret Clearance. US citizenship required to obtain US government clearance.
Desired:
- Advanced degree in STEM/related field or management/related field
