PE Systems is seeking a Journeyman Sustainment Analyst to support the strategic and operational success of NC3 (Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications) program. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of NC3 missions, policies, and objectives, and will play a critical role in advising management on the effectiveness and sustainability of NC3 operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Knowledge: Provide expert knowledge of the substantive nature of NC3 programs, activities, missions, policies, and objectives.
  • Advisory Support: Advise management on the effectiveness and sustainability of the NC3 program and its operations, ensuring program goals and long-term objectives are met.
  • System Analysis: Create system availability reports and trend analyses to inform decisions on operational efficiency.
  • Program Evaluation: Utilize analytical and evaluative methods to assess program sustainment or execution, recommending improvements to enhance organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Budget & Financial Management: Apply understanding of basic budgetary and financial management principles to support long-range planning, sustainment, and budgeting of NC3 programs. Provide recommendations to ensure NC3 efforts are supported well into the future.
  • Factfinding & Investigative Techniques: Use fact-finding and investigative techniques to assess program health, identify areas of improvement, and support decision-making.
  • Communication: Prepare and deliver oral and written communications, including presentations and reports, to stakeholders at all levels.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certifications/Experience/Skills:
  • BA/BS or Master of Arts/ Master of Science (MA/MS) degree and 3-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Must possess and maintain a government security clearance at the Top-Secret Level.
  • Must be able to perform functional duties independently.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft programs (including Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Must be able to transport self to various facility sites, as required. If using own motor vehicle, must possess a valid driver's license and proof of insurance
  • Must possess and maintain a government security clearance at the Secret
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications and other standard applications

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position is estimated between $85-105K. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. PE Systems considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
