WorldWide Language Resources (WorldWide) is currently pursuing several linguist contracts that will require a Quality Control Manager (QCM). The QCM will be responsible for implementation of the Quality Control Plan for the Task Order.

WorldWide was established in 1995 to provide U.S. and allied governments, corporations, non-profits and non-governmental organizations with highly skilled linguists, cultural experts, role players, intelligence analysts and other professionals. We support a wide range of operational missions and environments globally, from executive boardrooms in major international cities to austere mission areas. Must be ready, willing and able to change day-to-day work/tasks as the mission requirements at the assigned location may be fluid with lots of movement and change.

Ability to think quickly and deal with issues that may arise professionally, timely and appropriately.

Managment level typing ability, computer skills, use of Windows, MS Word and MS Excel.

Conduct oneself in accordance with the local culture and customs.

Ability to function effectively and efficiently during extended periods of high pressure and stress.

Responsible for implementation of the TO Quality Control Plan (QCP). Ensures QCP is reviewed, updated and approved by Government annually or as required.

Responsible for Quality Control of translation/ transcription products and interpretation services including the accurate meaning, context and spelling of words, rules of composition and grammar, and pronunciation in both the target and English language.

Ensures all service deliverables meet quality standards and performance requirements.

Responsible for periodic, routine and scheduled inspections of all aspect of contract performance.

Ensures corrective measures eliminate deficiencies and reoccurrence.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree
Certifications: Quality Control Training
Experience: Combination of 5 years’ experience as Quality Control of U.S. Government services contracts
Skills: Proven competency with project management software tools and program portals.
