About The Role

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager at Hanscom AFB, Peterson AFB or Scott AFB.

What you'll do:

• Lead Transition Activities; create transition plans, interface with Perton and customer POCs to gather requirements, timelines, monitor costs and deadlines. Gather inputs; process docs, create timelines for updates, arrange transition activieis and onsite training, create document repositories and manage access and communications.
• Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Manages the integration of vendor tasks, Peraton tasks, customer tasks and tracks and reviews deliverables.
• Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
• Works closely with customer on a daily basis and provides executive updates to Peraton Leadership.
• Create meeting cadence, action items, tracking status and reporting progress or roadblocks to meeting schedules.
• Meet with operational teams, understand the PWS requirements and define action requirements.
• Develop plans and strategic documents
• Apply High Maturity concepts on assigned project and/or take appropriate training to be able to incorporate within project activities and provide recommendations to the program
• Occasional travel required; up to 25%

Qualifications

6 years of experience, may have lead experience

What you'll need:

• Experience managing IT related, or defense systems, large-scale deployments, (Network and Infrastructure Installation and sustainment projects preferred)
• Well versed in life cycle project management methodologies
• Experience in tracking costs, schedule, and performance progress
• Experience in Risk Management
• Experience with MS Office and MS Project Professional

Security Requirements

• Must have an active DoD SECRET Clearance

Location: must be local to worksite & be able to go on base 1-2 days a week.

• Locations include Hanscom SFB or Scott AFB or Peterson SFB

Desired experience:

• 6 years of experience with a B.S. Degree or higher preferred.
• PMP Certified (or equivalent training and/or experience)

SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range

Details

Target Salary Range: $86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
