Target Salary Range: $80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Program Overview
About The Role
Peraton is seeking Special Security Technician (Information) to support the United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) Directorate of Intelligence (J2) located at MacDill AFB in Tampa, Florida.
- Brief and train proper command security practices for the Command Security Indoctrination briefings to promote Security, Education, Training, and Awareness (SETA).
- Update local security publications as required, consistent with DoD/DIA guidance.
- Provide input into USCENTCOM history reports and maintain the SSO webpage.
- Inspect and draft written feedback in support of the Command Inspection Program.
- Coordinate, track, document, brief, train, and issue courier authorization in support of the Courier Authorization Program.
- Coordinate with customers and Defense Courier Service staff for the delivery/pickup of classified material and provide SME guidance for forward deployed units.
- Identify and analyze security vulnerabilities that affect remedial Incident Program.
- Coordinate and support the command Annual/Hurricane Clean Out Program, the Wearable Fitness Device (WFD) Program, the Random Anti-terrorism Measures (RAM) Program, and other security related programs for USCENTCOM.
- Support the Information Security Working Group, the monthly brief Tasker Management Program.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 12 years (at least 2 years current) of experience as Special Security Technician or equivalate job related to the Responsibilities listed above.
- Bachelor's degree in an area related field
- This position requires the candidate have an active TS/SCI clearance with with favorable poly. US Citizen ship is required to obtain a clearance.
