Cybersecurity Analyst

Responsibilities of the Cybersecurity Analyst

• Will be performing network traffic analysis and analysis of system data to identify suspicious activity and potential threats to resources

• Will use information gathered from a variety of sources within the enterprise perform security events and incident correlation
• Analyzes the results of cyber incidents to assesses damage to the data and the infrastructure.
• Track and document all cyber incidents fully from the initial detection all the way until the final resolution.
• Performs analysis and reporting of cyber incident trends

Qualifications of the Cyber Security Analyst

• 5 years of experience with cybersecurity
• CSSP-IR Certification
• Active TS/SCI polygraph clearance
• Experience with Windows and linux operating systems
• Strong knowledge of current COTS Cybersecurity technologies.
• Strong knowledge of database and operating system security.

Compensation for the Cybersecurity Analyst

• Salary; $100,000 to $110,000 per year (Flexible based on experience)
