Computer Technologies Consultants (CTC) is seeking an experienced DevSecOps engineer with leadership experience to manage a team responsible for developing the automated pipelines for data center/cloud environments and support automated build, test and release deployments. This position will be full-time onsite at our clients facility in San Diego, CA

Key responsibilities include :
•Design, write and deliver Infrastructure as Code software to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of the network
•Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for Cloud Native development
•Build automated DevOps pipelines using tools like GitLab
•Develop jobs for the deployment of various artifacts that constitute an application on a container-based environment such as Docker
•Participate in development of advanced CI / CD processes to support deployments
•Participate in design and architecture discussions and build environments using Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and configuration management tools like Ansible
•Work extensively to deploy applications on Kubernetes clusters in our on-premises cloud environment
•Automate repetitive tasks to eliminate toil and drive consistency + repeatability
•Actively participate in incident response and root-cause analysis, support a blameless post-mortems culture
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
•Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret clearance and ability to obtain SCI clearance
•Bachelor of Science degree in engineering/technical discipline and 6 to 8+ years of relevant experience
•Experience using DevSecOps tools such as GitLab, GitOps, Bitbucket, CI/CD Pipelines, Docker, Fortify, Sonarqube, Chef/Ansible, Terraform, Nexus, Jenkins
•Experience with Docker and container orchestration/management tools
•Understanding of AWS cloud services
•Experience working with appropriate scripting languages and operating systems software (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)
•Experience with version control systems, such as Git
•Experience with Agile development and issue tracking systems, such as JIRA Experience with UNIX and/or Linux
•Experience leading a team of cross functional engineers to design and deploy scalable, highly available, secure cloud infrastructure that supports various applications and workloads.
•Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
•Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science
•Active Top Secret/SCI with Poly clearance
•Security+ 8570 certification
•Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
•Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
•AWS or similar Cloud Provider Experience
•Solid understanding of Message Service NATS, Kafka, Redis
•Strong Linux and Networking background
•Software development experience with C++/Java
Security Clearance :
•Must currently possess Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $150k - $215k
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
