Cyntel Technologies is currently seeking a highly skilled Cyber Architect to join our team in supporting a customer at Nellis AFB, NV.
Clearance – Active TS/SCI security clearance
Duties:
• The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and mitigating cyber threats to our clients' systems and networks.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network security, incident response, and vulnerability assessment.
• Conducting comprehensive cyber threat assessments and identifying potential risks to clients' systems and networks.
• Creating air-gapped training environments to protect networks.
• Conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in clients' systems and networks.
• Developing and maintaining incident response plans and protocols.
• Specializing in VMWare Virtual infrastructure
• Staying up to date on the latest cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies.
Experience/Education Requirements:
• 2 years with Bachelors in related field: 0 years’ experience with Masters, or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience working in the defense industry preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of network security, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools, such as Nessus, OpenVAS, and Nmap.
• Strong knowledge with VMWare
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cyber security.
