We are seeking Systems Engineers with varying levels of experience to support the documentation, design, and deployment management of advanced intelligence capabilities in a classified environment. You will be part of a project team responsible for designing and maintaining system architectures that integrate various components into a larger operational infrastructure.

Principal Responsibilities:
- Assist in system architecture design and integration across both cloud and local environments.
- Contribute to technical and user documentation, ensuring content is accurate and user-friendly.
- Collaborate with other engineers (software, network, and DevOps) to ensure proper system integration and performance.
- Troubleshoot system outages and communicate with the operational team and customer representatives to assist in addressing issues promptly.
- Support system deployment in hybrid architectures, ensuring smooth transitions from test to operational environments.
- Help improve, refine, and establish processes through cross-functional teams to streamline communication, configuration management, documentation, and deliveries.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have a current/active TS/SCI clearance.
- Must be willing to work in the office 5 days a week in Herndon, VA.
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (4 years of additional experience may be substituted for a degree).
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering.
- Experience in developing technical and user documentation.
- Experience with Jira management, including planning, creating, and managing Jira tickets, epics, and sprint backlogs to ensure seamless project execution.
- Experience deriving requirements from customer user stories.
- Ability to work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to translate project requirements into actionable tasks and documentation.
- Knowledge of Space domain awareness, Geospatial technologies, and/or the IC community and its missions.
- Proficiency in diagramming tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Visio) and documentation platforms (e.g., Confluence).
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps practices.
Desired Skills:
- Proficiency with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
- Exposure to or past work experience in defense and intelligence systems, with domain-specific knowledge being an asset.
- Previous work in the intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance fields as a systems engineer.
