The Opportunity

Join the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency's (NGA) SAFFIRE team, a mission-driven group pioneering the development and operation of cutting-edge geospatial intelligence analysis software. The SAFFIRE team is dedicated to empowering intelligence analysts by transforming vast amounts of geospatial data into actionable insights that give the U.S. a critical decision-making advantage.

As a Geospatial Mission Operations Integrator, you will play an integral role in supporting NGA analysts and ensuring their success in vital combat support missions. You will collaborate closely with program leadership, government stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver solutions, capture feedback, and track mission success.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as part of the distributed SAFFIRE Mission Operations team, providing direct support to NGA analysts in achieving their mission-critical objectives.
Facilitate adoption and effective use of the SAFFIRE tool suite by end-users, ensuring operational needs are met.
Gather and document user feedback to guide tool enhancements and improvements.
Support intelligence priorities through collaboration with analysts, leadership, and engineering teams.
Track mission outcomes and ensure alignment with program goals.
Required Qualifications

Security Clearance:
Active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance, preferably with a polygraph.
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or 9+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
Demonstrated expertise in the intelligence community with focus areas such as:
Object-Based Production.
Computer Vision.
Geospatial Information Systems (GIS).
Hands-on experience teaching advanced processing tools and techniques to non-technical users.
Previous experience as an Intelligence Analyst.
Skills:
Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts effectively.
Proven analytical and critical-thinking abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively with end-users of varying technical and analytical skill levels, including government, military, and contractor personnel.
Desired Qualifications

Prior experience in roles such as:
Geospatial Analyst
GEOINT Collection Manager
Expertise in:
Structured Object Management (SOM) Target Monitoring.
Geographic Information Systems (GIS), including the creation of spatial datasets and mapping layers.
Customizing GIS scripts, tools, and applications for data processing requirements.
Maintaining geospatial data in compliance with Spatial Data Standards.
Familiarity with tools and platforms, such as:
Flexible Content Management Services (FCMS).
Atlas, SOM-C, and/or WATCHMAN.
Knowledge of multi-disciplinary intelligence (MDI) strategies or event portal strategy (EPS) development.
Demonstrated ability to facilitate interagency collaboration.
Certifications and Training:
BA or BS degree preferred.
GPC-II (Imagery) Certification.
Completed a military service MOS/AFSC/NOS granting Imagery Analysis course or its DoD equivalent.
