Solidus is searching for a Java Software Engineer.
In this role, you will use your solid foundation in Java and experience working in a Linux environment to comprehend customer needs and translate those needs into viable design solutions.
This position is located in Richardson Texas. Candidates must be able to work on-site.
Day in the Life:
- Opportunity to use your understanding of software principles, theories, and concepts related to software engineering (including software development lifecycle and software development process), design patterns, and Object Oriented architecture.
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
- Demonstrate your critical thinking skills with the ability to communicate concepts and ideas well.
- Obtain and maintain SCI program access and complete polygraphs.
What you will bring:
- US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI
- BS in STEM and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience in Java ,Bash Development., and Git
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Helm, or Kubernetes.
- Experience with SAFE Agile toolsets (e.g. Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, Jenkins, gradle, etc.
Preferred Skills:
- A degree in Computer Science.
- Familiarity with Spring/Springboot
- Experience with C/C++
- Experience with Junit testing or Cucumber test tools
- Experience with DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery
The salary for this position is estimated to be between $85,000 - $120,000. Customer contractual specifications, relevant work experience, skills, competencies and certifications, clearance status, and benefit selections will influence the final salary.
