Description: Our client is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our team supporting the US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM).
Responsibilities:
• Provide installation and operational support for voice and data communications hardware and software systems.
• Design, develop, implement, test, debug, and maintain communications systems.
• Perform configuration of operating system and security patches for host and distributed systems.
• Implement incident response procedures during network or host security breaches.
• Provide leadership and direction to a team of specialists.
• Review customer requirements and recommend changes to existing technical architecture.
• Comply with prescribed customer, industry, and agency standards.
Top Skills:
1. Must have an active TS/SCI.
2. Security+ CE and CCNA minimum (must obtain CCNP within 6 months).
3. Experience with Layer 2-4 configuration, troubleshooting, and design within a Cisco environment.
Education Requirements:
• HS/GED + 8 years
• Associate's Degree + 6 years
• Bachelor's Degree + 4 years
• Master's Degree + 2 years

Business Challenge: Under the I2TS3 task order, INSCOM ensures reliable, uninterrupted availability of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Information Management (C4IM) including networks, hardware, software, engineering, and specialized tools to support INSCOM's mission. INSCOM and its MSCs provide the enabling layer to connect the Army and its tactical formations to defense and national intelligence agencies via tactical networks. The ability to provide mission-critical intelligence is dependent on the successful use of its IT networks worldwide.
