Responsibilities

  • Assist the Missile Defense Agency Architecture Design Team (MDA/CAD) in the development of ideas and concepts for future missile defense solutions in coordination with the top experts in missile defense from across the nation in government, industry, entrepreneurial startups, and academia.
  • Provide architecture design solutions that mitigate existing capability gaps.

Qualifications

  • BA or BS with 20+ years of relevant experience OR an MA/MS with 12+ years' experience
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Experience with DoD systems and system-of-systems
  • Demonstrated understanding of system-of-system architecture design, system architecture, systems engineering, computer engineering, hardware/software integration, or data engineering disciplines
  • Ability to think critically (i.e., research, understand, analyze, synthesize, and critique), creating solutions to new and one-of-a-kind program challenges and issues as they arise
  • Ability to propose and execute technical project solutions which align with customer strategic goals, proposing courses of action based on overarching leadership goals and objectives

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Prior experience and understanding of the MDA mission
  • Proficient understanding of the current MDS architecture
  • Experience with application of M&S to defense architectures, HPC experience, and/or MBSE experience
  • Familiarity with DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF)
  • Experience with BMD Benchmark and/or Cameo
