Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes: Performing maintenance on military vehicles and equipment such as non-tactical vehicles, light, tracked, heavy mobile tactical and non-tactical equipment, communications, and electronics equipment, and/or small arms weapons. Reviewing maintenance policy and procedures. Utilizing supply and maintenance management information systems.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
If you are currently stationed in the overseas area, all of your overseas time will be credited toward your current overseas tour end date. Your overseas time served will not reset upon accepting this assignment.
If you have returned from OCONUS within the past 2 years or less, your time previously served in the OCONUS area will be credited to your 5 year overseas rotation upon accepting this assignment.

ROK ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
[Special Issuance Passport (SIP)] Beginning 1 July 2021, all DoD Civilians (and eligible Family Members) must be in receipt of a Special Issuance Passport (SIP) - Official Passport prior to departure for official travel (PCS), However, if not in receipt of the SIP prior to departure, traveler must have on hand a memorandum from a DoD Passport Agent stating the SIP application was submitted.
[K-ETA] Effective 1 September 21, the Republic of Korea will require all visa-free foreign visitors (e.g. US passport holders) to obtain a Korean Electronic Travel Authorization (K-ETA) prior to arrival. DoD Civilians, Eligible Family Members (EFM) and DoD Contractors must comply with the K ETA requirement. Military members are exempt.
