Information and Media Environment Analyst
The Opportunity:
Are you passionate about benchmarking communications success across complex organizations and eliminating information blind spots for your clients? Whether through establishing standardized assessment criteria or providing real-time feedback on breaking news, supporting the communications planning cycle through the Research, Planning, Implementation, Evaluation ( RPIE ) process is critical for optimizing strategic communications. However, coordinating communications efforts and assessments in a joint combatant command can be a challenge. That's why we're looking for someone like you - an information and media environment analyst who understands the nuanced roles and responsibilities of public affairs at a combatant command and can apply their consulting skills and industry knowledge to fulfill our client mission.
As an information and media environment analyst, you'll be part of a team driving the design and implementation of an innovative, transformational assessment methodology for public affairs at a joint combatant command. You'll use your expertise to c ond uct media research with publicly available information ( PAI ) and commer cia l media research tools to produce assessments focused on media coverage of planned activities and emergent real-world events, assess international news and other PAI to identify trends, patterns, and relationships that provide unique insights to address client requirements. You'll participate in and support public affairs planning, and attend exercise planning conferences, meetings, and working groups, as needed, and coordinate across staff and component public affairs offices to identify opportunities for inclusion into broader command campaigns and assessments.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.

You Have:
- 5+ years of experience c ond ucting open-source research, including tool-based research
- 5+ years of experience performing data analysis and assessments
- Experience with using Micro sof t Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with deriving insights from large, multi-source data sets
- TS / SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with working in a joint military environment
- Experience with working at a combatant command
- Knowledge of EUCOM AOR
