Job Description: The selected candidate will work as a Procurement Analyst supporting the Product Director Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (PD TMDE) at Thompson Gray. Responsibilities include a broad range of planning, programming, budget, administrative, and management functions for multiple programs. The Procurement Analyst will support the Business and Financial Management (BFM) office in developing documentation and reports, ensuring compliance with DoD regulations, and achieving key milestones such as contract awards.

Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time

Worksite details: Hybrid, expected onsite once per week

Duties will include:
  • Preparing Contracts Requirements Packages (CRP's), which includes but is not limited to, Justifications &Approvals (J&A's), Market Research Reports, Purchase Description/Statement of Work, and Source Selection Plans.
  • Assist in coordinating with technical POCs on delivery requirements, quality assurance and special provisions.
  • Assist in coordinating approvals with Legal Office, Competition Management Office, Small Business Office, and Army Contracting Command.
  • Assure packages comply with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Department of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR), and other local regulation and policies.
  • Advising the Senior Procurement Officer and Integrated Product Team members on acquisition program matters; and representing them as required in assigned functional areas.
  • Working with all associated Contracting Centers on a daily basis to troubleshoot contract issues and resolve problems as they arise to avoid delays in established timelines.
  • Providing expert program and policy guidance to the Product Director, Business and Finance Manager, and the support elements on acquisition and contracting procedures and practices.
Position Requirements:
  • BA or BS degree required with at least 8 years related experience
  • Prior experience with Army procurement processes
  • Experience with Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) to view invoices and retrieve awarded contracts via Electronic Document Access (EDA) (preferred)
  • Active Secret security clearance
  • Prior experience in a Program Management Office
