As part of the Spectrum Convergence team, the engineer will be part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team on the Trusted Security Solutions (TSS) Program.
THE WORK
• Coordinates planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility.
• Plans and formulates engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications.
• Evaluates and approves design changes, specification and drawing releases.
• Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.
WHO YOU ARE
You are a Project Engineer with a focus on Cost Account Management (CAM) responsibilities. You will be responsible for generating BPEs, BOEs, and other proposal activities. In addition, you will be responsible for continual communication, coordination, and providing status to existing program customers. Secret clearance is required to start.

Basic Qualifications:
- Current/Active DoD Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a final TS/SCI Clearance
- Experience in Project Execution or Program Management; supporting programs or projects to achieve their cost, schedule, and technical goals.
- Proposal Management and prior Cost Account Management (CAM) experience
- Understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) and Risk & Opportunity Management responsibility
- Previous proposal or Basis-of-Estimates writing/reviewing experience
- Understanding of System, Software, and Hardware Engineering processes, and experience developing and executing program and project plans
Desired Skills:
- Prefer TS/SCI clearance. Minimal requirement is a SECRET clearance with an ability to obtain a TS clearance
- CAM Certified
- Control Account or Financial Management Experience
- Control Account Management Certification
- Highly proficient with Excel and advanced functions
- Experience authoring compliant basis of estimates (BOE) for proposals
- Experience managing Safety Critical systems
- Familiar with Cross Domain Solution products
- Proven team cooperation and communication Skills
- Experience Leading Teams
- Complete Program Lifecycle - Experience on Development and Sustainment programs
- Systems Engineering Background
- Ability to embrace complex technical challenges and apply 'systems thinking' for

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $100,400 - $192,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
