Valiant Integrated Services is offering a SkillBridge Opportunity for an Equipment Maintenance Technician I. This role involves supporting the Defense Threat Reduction Agency’s (DTRA) Counter-WMD Security Cooperation Engagement Program (CSCEP) in enhancing partner nations through building partnership capacity (BPC) activities. The Equipment Maintenance Technician I plays a crucial role in ensuring that our robots, drones, communication systems, and supporting equipment operate with optimal precision and efficiency. Under the direction of Valiant's Logistics Manager, this position is responsible for maintaining robotic and drone equipment according to recommended OEM and industry standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
• Perform pre-operational and post-operational checks, ensuring equipment is ready to use at any given time.
• Operate robotic and drone equipment.
• Upgrade software and firmware as required by OEM.
• Operate material handling equipment, including a 15k forklift - preferred.
• Track in-coming robot and drone shipments and receive them in the inventory.
• Conduct planned cycle inventory counts, and AdHoc counts are requested.
• Plan, execute, and track the status of international shipments.
• Effectively communicate with government officers and Valiant associates regarding preventative, corrective, and required maintenance schedules.
• Conduct market research on equipment used in countering Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) threat missions and execute purchases by Valiant procedures.
• Support facility management activities as required.
• Possess professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Possess organizational skills to complete multiple tasks under deadlines.
• Possess professional reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Work well within a team consisting of customer and Valiant personnel.
• Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information at a minimum of a Secret level.
• FAA Part 107 – preferred.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: Active Secret preferred or ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Demonstrated experience in scheduling daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual, and as-required pre-use and post-use equipment maintenance checks.
• Demonstrated experience in field-level troubleshooting and repair as allowed by OEM.
• Demonstrated experience processing repair orders and returning equipment to OEM for repair.
• Demonstrated experience in life-cycle management of equipment and supporting accessories.
• Experience in proper storage, transportation, and basic use of equipment.
• Experience in establishing IP-based communication relay and network to operate robotic and drone equipment.
• Experience supporting activities of the Department of Defense is preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of tools required.
• Must be able to travel unaccompanied to foreign and domestic locations, including a valid Passport and any required immunizations.
• Must be able to type proficiently.
• Must have sufficient creditworthiness to secure a company Purchase Card.
Physical Requirements:
• Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to, lifting, ascending and descending stairs, climbing, extended sitting or standing, to various degrees.
• Be able to transport and lift 40-pound boxes of documents and equipment.
