Front-End Developer

As a Front-end Developer, you can resolve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast, agile environment. We're looking for an experienced Developer like you with the skills needed to develop sof tware and systems from vision to production-ready.
This role is more than just coding. As a Front-end Developer at Booz Allen, you'll use your passion to master new tools and te chn iques and identify needed system improvements. You'll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and te chn ologies. You'll make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.

You Have:
- 3+ years of experience developing front end applications using JavaScript and a JavaScript framework, such as Angular and React
- 3+ years of experience in UI development, data analysis and visualization, and sof tware design
- 3+ years of experience with HTML and CSS, including CSS frameworks, such as Material Design, Bootstrap, or Tailwind
- 3+ years of experience with usability analysis, testing, and client-facing e nga gements, including design discussions and product demonstrations
- TS / SCI clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain DoD 8570 Compliant Security+ or CISSP Certification within 6 months of start date
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with Agile or Kanban sof tware development methods
- Experience with using JavaScript mapping libraries, including ArcGIS or Leaflet
- Experience developing backend RESTful micro-services using languages such as Python or NodeJS
- Experience with a task runner and build system to include Vite, Webpack, or Rollup
- Experience with testing frameworks, including Jest, Cypress, and Supertest
- Experience with a JavaScript package manager such as npm, bower, or yarn
- Experience with Gitlab CI / CD Pipelines
- Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Git, and GitLab
