Job Title: Manufacturing Test Engineer (MTE)

Job Description: The Manufacturing Test Engineer (MTE) designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment. This role involves planning and arranging the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices. The MTE provides the test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies the tests to be performed. Additionally, the MTE compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements. The MTE is responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area.

Job Description: The Manufacturing Test Engineer (MTE) designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment. Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain System Check Out Procedures for vehicle systems.
- Provide technical test support or oversee the development and maintenance of vehicle functional test software used to test systems.
- Develop manufacturing test plans, including identifying manufacturing test equipment requirements.
- Utilize Product Lifecycle Manager (PLM) tools (e.g., 3DX, Teamcenter, PDM).
- Maintain a Secret Clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years.
Security Clearance:
- Minimum of Secret required
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Catia V5.
- Experience in aviation testing.
- Familiarity with TeamCenter.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with pre-power and power-on vehicle testing.
- Knowledge of automated circuit testing.
- Experience with vehicle software loading.
- Strong inter-departmental communication skills, both written and verbal.
- General knowledge of computer architecture and communications bus architecture.
- Experience with engineering releases and configuration change control.
- Flight line experience.
- Proficiency in LabView.
- Experience with MS Office.
- Good communication skills.
- Software programming experience.
- Familiarity with iBASEt.
Additional Information:
- Potential for overtime or weekend work.
- Aviation test experience preferred.
