Baer is looking for Oracle Fixed Assets Consultant (Capital Exp/Asset and Tracking) for a 12-month Federal remote project.

Description:

• Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements related to asset management, including capital expenditures, asset tracking, and capitalization processes in Oracle applications.
• Lead Conference Room Pilots (CRPs) and perform fit/gap analysis to ensure Oracle Fixed Assets solutions meet business needs and align with industry best practices.
• Draft and maintain comprehensive functional design documents and configuration workbooks that capture the design and setup of Oracle Asset Management solutions.
• Mentor junior resources and ensure the application of best practices throughout the project lifecycle, from design to deployment.
• Collaborate with functional, development, technical, and security teams to design, configure, and deploy comprehensive end-to-end Oracle Fixed Assets solutions.
• Perform hands-on configuration of Oracle Asset Management modules, including asset creation, capitalization, tracking, and reporting.
• Manage testing, release management, and deployment activities for Oracle Fixed Assets solutions, ensuring quality and successful integration with other modules such as Accounts Receivable (AR) and Finance.
• Identify, triage, and resolve issues and defects related to the Oracle Fixed Assets modules during configuration, testing, and post-deployment.
• Develop, review, and manage training materials for end users to ensure smooth adoption and usage of Oracle Fixed Assets solutions.
• Provide functional issue triage and resolution support during Data Conversion activities to ensure accurate data migration and seamless integration with Oracle applications.
• Ensure client deliverables are completed on time and in alignment with project goals and business requirements.

Requirements:

• Experience with Oracle Asset Management (Fixed Assets) modules, with a focus on Capital Expenditures, Asset Tracking, and Capitalization processes.
• Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting principles, particularly in relation to asset management, depreciation, and reporting.
• Proven experience in end-to-end implementations of Oracle Asset Management solutions, from requirements gathering and design to deployment and post-go-live support.
• Hands-on experience in configuring Oracle Fixed Assets for asset creation, capitalization, asset tracking, and integration with other financial modules such as AR and General Ledger.
• Experience in Conference Room Pilots (CRPs), fit/gap analysis, and solution design for Oracle Asset Management solutions.
• Ability to mentor junior resources and guide the team in applying best practices for Oracle Asset Management.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify, triage, and resolve issues related to Oracle Fixed Assets modules.
• Testing experience, including functional testing, integration testing, and coordinating deployment of Oracle Fixed Assets solutions.
