Core4ce is seeking a Network Engineer with experience operating in LAN and WLAN environments. The engineer should have experience developing, testing, documenting, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-wide LAN and WLAN standards and baseline configuration files to normalize and optimize its performance and availability in a multivendor (support Cisco, Juniper, Rukus Networks | Commscope LAN components, and Aruba WLAN components) environment. Experience with NetDevops is a plus.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with DHA LAN sustainment, deployment, and NETDEVOPs teams to automate the implementation of standards, normalization, and task optimization
• Deliver engineering solution packages that resolve, address, and improve the DHA enterprise architecture, system, and component performance throughout its lifecycle.
• Troubleshooting/fault isolation to include debugging and obscure problem solving, analysis, remediation, after action reports, and ticket resolution
• Continuously evaluate and incorporate new network systems, platforms, tools, technologies, procedures, and methodologies.
• Contribute to development and implementation packages which may include Analysis, Requirements, Solution Design, System Diagram, STIG, PPS, Deployment Guide, and Test reports
• Have familiarity with Cisco, Juniper, Rukus Networks | Commscope LAN components, and Aruba WLAN components
• Evaluate and recommend solutions to improve DHA network capabilities through the insertion of emerging network technology, security, protection, detection, monitoring, and capacity improvement solutions
• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, installations, and changes
• Develop and update network diagrams and other relevant technical documents
• Provide weekly report of activities and accomplishments
Requirements
• 4+ Years' experience working with complex LAN and WLAN environments
• Solid understanding of enterprise networks and associated technologies
• Experience with the Cisco, Juniper
• CCNA or higher or higher or other vendor equivalent or proof of job
• Experience working with DHA is a plus
• Work in a team centric environment and complete tasks assigned by team leads
• Secret Clearance preferred or ability to obtain
